Getting a DUI? Taking off your clothes will NOT help.

A woman in Florida was driving home from a bar with her boyfriend after a night of drinking when a police officer began to follow them.   Her boyfriend, who is on probation, became paranoid about the police behind them and yanked the wheel causing her to crash into the median.  Once her boyfriend got out the car he yelled at her to run to evade the police.   The woman, terrified of being arrested, stripped off clothes as she ran, to “conceal her sent” from the police dogs that were following her.  Unsurprisingly, her stripping tactic did not work.  The police and the K-9 found her in her bra and panties in the Florida woods.  She was booked for a DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.  ARTICLE

What’s the lesson here? Don’t drink and drive.  If you do drink and drive, don’t crash your car into a median when the police are behind you.  Instead, be polite and follow the instructions of the police officer and then call a licensed South Carolina Attorney.  If you have gotten a DUI please call the The Galle Law Firm, LLC at (843) 284-5557 or email at thegallelawfirm@gmail.com
